How to Create a New Drive or Disk Partition (with picture)

Hello friends,

Once again your welcome on my blog ( R - Tricks World ).

Friends today we will learn that how to create a new drive or disk partition. Friends many time we need different space or different location for save the different type of data. Different data type like image, audio, videos and word file etc. For example many different data type data stored in our PC/Laptop. And we want that all images store in a drive and all video store in another drive. So we can create a new drive or disk partition for store the different type of data.

Then ok friends i don't take your more time.

Lets Start..........

Step 1 - First "Right Click" on my computer icon after that click on "manage".

Step 2 - Click on "Disk Management" shown below picture.


Step 3 - Right click on any partition of drive which you want to partition.
             (for ex - C, D, E, F)



 Step 4 - Click on Shrink volume shown below picture.

 Note - There are two option shrink volume and extend volume. Shrink volume is used for create new partition and extend volume is used for add unallocated space in any other device.
Step 5 - After that enter memory amount and click on Shrink button. After that unallocated volume show in black colour.
Note - Give memory amount in MB.


Step 6 - Right click on unallocated space and click on New volume.


Step 7 - Enter your memory amount and click on Next => Next => Next.


So friends follow some easy step and learn how to create a new drive or disk partition and like, comment & share it.
